I didn’t know you were going but am friends with Carol Meekhof! I am just looking at the picture of everyone there and seen you! I am Larissa’s mom. Wow good for you! I’ll say a prayer for you too! Hope all goes well.
So it sounds like you’re becoming quite the carpenter(no pun intended)!
I’m glad you and George (Jorge) arrived there safe. I’ve been thinking and praying for you two this week. I bet it’s a true blessing to serve others like you do.
May the remainder of your week go well and your trip home be an uneventful one.

Today is a little bit slower…..we are getting medical supplies & bags put together to put out at a village. It will be a late night……but I’m sure another great experience. I’ve met a lot of cool people on the team too……euchre is becoming second nature! (almost).
Villages for the next 2 days, and then a free day on Sunday. Hope all is well with you.

Hi Lana,
I’m so glad to hear from you……thanks for the thoughts, especially the keeping George in check part!!!! We have had an incredible time, and George has been amazing! He did all of the driving, which I’m sure you’ll hear more about. (He did a wonderful job.)

Deborah,
What is your thought process? Mine is “What did George do to me?” Did you know he left me a note on my bed? Is he trying to scare me, or did he really do something? I should have thought up something for him before he left. We have been thinking about you guys today and praying for a safe return home. I miss my euchre buddies! Nobody here wants to play. : (
Love, Nancy
Nancy, Nancy, Nancy……oh the craziness that Hor-hey has in store for you!!!!
Actually, he’s just messin with ya, but it sure was a fabulous week. I do miss the playing too…….good thing I’m pretty!
The flight home was fairly uneventful, except that Atlanta changed our gate 3 times, and a few of us didn’t realize it until 30 minutes b4 take-off…….I’ll fill you in later.
Favor to ask…..can you grab another purse for me from the base? I’m giving another one to Emily, and would like to have a mulit-colored one for her. I think they were 35 quesos if that helps.
Also, let me know what email address to use to contact you. Do you check the one we communicated with b4 we left.
It’s strange being back, and I haven’t even looked at my emails yet. Went to the chiropracter today, and am feeling a little better……..more on that later too.
